# Frequency Adjustments

> How to set weighted frequencies for mixed-strategy hands.

  Weighted frequencies are available on **Pro** and **Elite** plans. On the Free plan, each cell supports only one action.

## What are frequencies?

In solver-based poker, many hands don't have a single correct action. Instead, the solver recommends a **mixed strategy** — for example, raising AJo 65% of the time and calling 35%.

RangeSharp lets you assign **frequency weights** to each action on a cell, so you can accurately represent solver outputs.

## The frequency ring

When a cell has more than one action, RangeSharp displays a **frequency ring** — a small pie chart inside the cell that shows the proportion of each action.

The ring is both a visual indicator and a control. You can drag the ring segments to adjust frequencies directly on the grid.

## Setting frequencies on a cell

### Method 1: Shift+click

    Click the action you want to adjust in the palette.

    Hold **Shift** and click the cell. The frequency adjuster appears.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set the frequency">
    Use the slider or type a percentage (0–100%) for each action.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Close the adjuster">
    Click elsewhere or press **Esc** to close. The cell updates to show the new proportions.

### Method 2: Paint multiple actions

1. Paint a cell with Action A (e.g., Raise).
2. Switch to Action B (e.g., Call).
3. Paint the same cell again.
4. The cell now has both actions. Use Shift+click to fine-tune the frequencies.

## Frequency rounding

When importing solver data, frequencies can have very precise values (e.g., 62.7%). You can round frequencies to simpler values for easier memorization:

* Rounding to **25% steps** converts frequencies to 0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, or 100%
* This is applied during import and can be configured in the import settings

Rounded ranges are easier to train on and are close enough to GTO for practical play.

## Reading mixed cells on the grid

A cell with mixed actions shows color segments proportional to each action's frequency:

* A cell with 70% Raise / 30% Call shows a larger raise-colored segment and a smaller call-colored segment
* The frequency ring overlay (when enabled) adds a pie chart on top for clearer reading

## Frequency display in the detail panel

When you select a cell, the detail panel (right side) shows:

* Each action assigned to the cell
* The frequency percentage for each action
* The combo count for each action

This gives you precise numbers without needing to read the visual proportions on the grid.
