# Keyboard Shortcuts

> Complete list of keyboard shortcuts for the Study workspace and Training.

## Global shortcuts

These work anywhere in RangeSharp.

| Shortcut            | Action                      |
| ------------------- | --------------------------- |
| **⌘K** / **Ctrl+K** | Open command bar            |
| **⌘T** / **Ctrl+T** | Quick train on current spot |

## Study workspace

| Shortcut                   | Action                                |
| -------------------------- | ------------------------------------- |
| **1–9**                    | Switch to action 1–9 in the palette   |
| **Arrow keys**             | Navigate between grid cells           |
| **Enter**                  | Toggle active action on selected cell |
| **Delete** / **Backspace** | Clear the selected cell               |
| **⌘Z** / **Ctrl+Z**        | Undo                                  |
| **⌘⇧Z** / **Ctrl+⇧Z**      | Redo                                  |
| **Shift+click**            | Open frequency adjuster on a cell     |

## Training (Decision mode)

| Shortcut  | Action                                  |
| --------- | --------------------------------------- |
| **1–4**   | Select action 1–4 (answer the question) |
| **Space** | Advance to the next hand                |
| **Esc**   | Stop the training session               |

## Training (Recall mode)

| Shortcut       | Action                                     |

## Tips for keyboard-first usage

  RangeSharp is designed to be used entirely from the keyboard. During a training session, you can answer hands and advance without ever touching the mouse — just use the number keys and Space bar.

### Recommended workflow for training

1. Press **⌘T** to start training from the Study workspace
2. Press **1**, **2**, **3**, or **4** to answer each hand
3. Press **Space** to advance (or enable auto-advance in settings)
4. Press **Esc** when you're done

### Recommended workflow for editing

1. Press **1–9** to select the action you want to paint
2. Click and drag on the grid to paint cells
3. Press **⌘Z** if you make a mistake
4. Use arrow keys for precise cell-by-cell editing
