Accessing preferences
- Click the gear icon in the nav rail to open Settings.
- Select the Preferences tab.
Default action colors
Set the default actions and colors that are applied to every new spot you create. This saves you from configuring the same colors every time.
How to set defaults
- In Preferences, find the Default Action Colors section.
- Add, rename, or change colors for your default actions.
- New spots you create will use these defaults.
Existing spots are not affected — changing the defaults only applies to spots created after the change.

Auto-advance
When auto-advance is enabled, RangeSharp automatically moves to the next hand after you answer — no need to press Space. This makes sessions faster but gives you less time to study each answer.
Turn auto-advance off when learning new ranges. Take time to study the correct answer when you make mistakes. Turn it back on once you’re scoring 80%+ accuracy and want to increase the pace.
