Mass import from HRC .zip files is available on the Elite plan only.

What is mass import?

Mass import lets you upload an HRC (Hold’em Resources Calculator) .zip archive containing ranges for multiple positions and scenarios, and import them all at once. RangeSharp creates the strategy and all spots automatically based on the file contents. This is dramatically faster than importing ranges one spot at a time.

How to mass import

1

Prepare your HRC export

In HRC, export your ranges as a .zip file. This file typically contains separate text files for each position and scenario.
2

Go to the Study workspace

Navigate to Study.
3

Click Import in the toolbar

Click the Import button and select Mass Import (HRC .zip).
4

Upload the .zip file

Select the .zip file from your computer. RangeSharp processes the archive and identifies all the range files inside.
5

Review the import preview

RangeSharp shows a summary of what will be created:
  • New strategy name
  • Number of spots to be created
  • Positions and action lines detected
6

Confirm the import

Click Import All. RangeSharp creates the strategy and all spots with their range data populated.

What gets imported

The mass import creates:
  • A new strategy with the name derived from the .zip file
  • Individual spots for each position/scenario in the archive
  • Range data with actions and frequencies from the HRC output
  • Appropriate action colors based on the HRC action labels

After importing

Review the imported strategy in the Study workspace:
  1. Expand the new strategy in the tree.
  2. Click through the spots to verify the ranges look correct.
  3. Adjust action colors or names if needed.
  4. Start training on the imported spots.
Use frequency rounding after mass import. HRC outputs exact solver frequencies which can be hard to memorize. Consider rounding to 25% steps for more practical training.

Limitations

  • Only HRC .zip format is currently supported for mass import
  • Very large archives may take a few moments to process
  • The strategy name is derived from the file name — you can rename it after import
