Add a spot to a strategy

1

Select a strategy

Click on the strategy in the tree (left panel) where you want to add the spot.
2

Right-click and select Add Spot

Right-click the strategy name and choose Add Spot from the context menu. You can also click the + icon that appears when hovering over the strategy.
3

Configure the spot

Set the spot properties:
  • Position — UTG, MP, CO, BTN, SB, or BB
  • Action line — The decision being made (e.g., Open Raise, vs 3-Bet Call)
  • Stack depth — Override the strategy default if needed
4

Click Create

The new spot appears in the tree under the strategy, and the empty grid loads in the center panel.

Add a subrange (child spot)

To create a continuation decision under an existing spot:
  1. Right-click the parent spot in the tree.
  2. Select Add Spot.
  3. The new spot is created as a child, representing the next decision in the tree.
For example, if you have a “CO Open Raise” spot, you might add child spots for:
  • BTN 3-Bet → 4-Bet
  • BTN 3-Bet → Call
  • BTN 3-Bet → Fold

Duplicate a spot

  1. Right-click the spot in the tree.
  2. Select Duplicate.
  3. A copy is created with all range data, action colors, and notes preserved.
This is useful when adjacent positions have similar ranges and you only need to make small adjustments.

Delete a spot

  1. Right-click the spot in the tree.
  2. Select Delete.
  3. Confirm the deletion.
Deleting a spot removes its range data, training history, version history, and notes permanently. Child spots are also deleted.

Move spots between strategies

You can drag and drop spots within the tree to reorder them inside a strategy.

Spot context bar

When you select a spot, the spot context bar appears above the grid. It shows:
  • The spot’s position (e.g., “CO”)
  • The action line (e.g., “Open Raise”)
  • The stack depth (e.g., “100bb”)
  • The mastery badge
This helps you always know which spot you’re currently editing.

Adding notes to a spot

Each spot has a notes field where you can add your own observations:
  1. Select the spot.
  2. In the detail panel (right side), find the Notes section.
  3. Click to edit and type your notes.
  4. Notes save automatically.
Notes are a good place to record things like “Tighten up vs. nit in BB” or “Solver says mix but I always fold 76o here.”
